History

Aura was founded in 1996 in Niš as a company focused on the production and sale of cosmetics.

The name Aura comes from the Latin word aurum, meaning gold, and symbolizes the glow of dawn.

Over the years, we grew into a leader in the production and distribution of cosmetics across the Balkans.

Since 2003, we have applied ISO quality standards.

In 2007, we received the Oscar of Quality award, confirming that we were on the right path.

In 2008, we began reconstructing and improving our office space.

In 2012, we upgraded our production and supporting processes in line with GMP standards, opening the way to enter the EU market.

We continuously invest in improvement — both in our facilities and in employee development. In 2016, we expanded our production space by an additional 2,000 m².
